My musical story started when I was 9 years old. I took guitar lessons for one year, but I realized very soon that at that time I wasn`t interested in music at all. Therefore the guitar got dusty for a couple of years.

At the age of 14 or 15 I watched the “Rockpalast” show for the first time-after that I watched this show regulary. This show was broadcasted on Sunday afternoon on the third channel of german television. Since that day I was infected with the so called “Rock `n `Roll fever”.
I removed the dust from the guitar and started guitar playing with the Beatles-complete-songbook. I soon realized that I wasn`t the only one who was interested in music and guitar playing and so I decided to form a band. There were lots of friends who tried to play guitar more or less successful and I said to myself that I have to get a bass guitar.

This guitar was financed by a holiday job. My first band was called “Untergrund” and was soon renamed as “Underground”.
We used old reconstructed radios as amps. After the time of playing in “school bands” I played for some time in a heavy metal band called ”Black widow”. Then I got a very interesting offer to join the band “Steamship company” which I accepted. This band later on became the “Thirsty Man Band”.

Wolle Hoffmann was the guitar player of this band and since then to this day he is my guitar player or I am his bass player or whatsoever.
Wolle and me founded the band “Boys `r`us in the middle of the 80ties. With this band we reached the Belgian charts and released 2 records. After the band was dissolved, it was quite obvious that Wolle and I wanted to carry on in making music.
There were primary difficulties, but also very entertaining moments of recruiting new band members. But in 2003 the final instrumentation of “Silent Deceiver” was done.
Since that time DeeDee, Stevie, Wolle and me did lots of gigs and released a record.
