At the age of 12 I became interested in playing guitar and by doing this I wanted to have guitar lessons. But I didn`t like these lessons, because I had to read music and to count loud when playing the guitar. By doing this I had no fun in playing this instrument.

Therefore I decided to take a “creative break” which lasted about 3 and a half years. After that I started teaching guitar playing on my own. So at that time I was able to re-enact and to sing along to my beloved Elvis. I can imagine that this behaviour must have been very cruel and nerving to my family, friends and other people. I feel sorry for this and hope that they will forgive me…;)))
At the age of 17 I met a guitar-player called Curt Reichert at the basketball training.

We founded my first band and stayed together for a couple of years with different bands and musicians ( at that time my taste in music changed and went into a harder direction- Whitesnake, Deep Purple, Ronnie James Dio, Saxon etc… became my “heroes”).
Curt and me met Uwe Heepen and the band Helicon was founded ( but my musical imagination did not fit with the one Helicon had; so we had to go our separate ways).
After that I founded several bands which only worked for some years, for example I was a member of Anna 1 ( a band from Alsdorf) which I decided to leave after a couple of years because their musical direction wasn`t mine any longer.

Since that time I was concentrated on sports and family. After some years of another musical break I got a call from a former band member and I was offered a job as a singer in a coverband. But this band wasn`t very successful and was dissolved after 4 years.
And again I was searching for a new band!!!

I met my current band members in summer 2003. At the beginning
I should only sing- or I wanted to do so- but in lack of a suitable second guitar-player, I did this job, too. I only had pity for the guys;-))) Since that day the band is a good working formation with some potential. I hope that we will play together for a very long time!!!!!
